Martin Fischer
Martin Fischer, Ph.D., is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University and Director of the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), one of the world’s leading reference centers for innovation and advanced management in construction projects.
From Stanford, he has led for more than two decades the development of the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) approach, integrating digital design, processes, organization, and metrics to improve decision-making, collaboration, and performance in infrastructure and building projects.
Martin Fischer advises companies and public entities across multiple continents and is a frequent keynote speaker at major global conferences in the sector.
